This guest house is about 230 km from Riga in the town of Daugavpils, which is the second largest town in Latvia. This is an ideal place to stay to explore Latvias' 'second city'.

This is the region known as Latgale which has it's own dialect and is close to the Belarussian and Lithuanian borders.

There is a regular train and bus service from Riga.
